In order to make the best batteries on earth, we need to protect the earth. Making a commitment to create sustainable products is just one of the innovative ways we plan to do our part in protecting the environment.
Environmental Sustainability
Energy conservation is an issue that concerns us all. We continuously track and adjust the amount of energy we use to produce our products. In the past 4 years alone, we have reduced our energy consumption by close to 10%.
In an effort to significantly reduce the amount of waste going to landfill, we have created a robust materials recycling program in our manufacturing operations. We are proud to have created numerous reduce and recycle initiatives that have led to over 90% of waste generated being recycled.
Water is essential for all dimensions of life. We have successfully installed waste water treatment equipment in all of our manufacturing locations. This has resulted in a 75% reduction in the amount of water used.
Social Sustainability
Placing a greater emphasis on integrating social and environmental factors into business decisions has been a rewarding mission.
We strive to be more responsible and accountable when it comes to supporting both human rights and the environment. It is the responsibility of every employee to incorporate the practices of environmental sustainability into their daily lives.
Economic Sustainability
Sustainable efforts both big and small are designed to compliment both the environment and the overall financial health of the company. Positive sustainable efforts and tangible environmental results display this unwavering commitment to our shareholders.
