FLW and Rayovac Renew Partnership For 2013 Season
Rayovac, a worldwide leader in battery power and innovation, has renewed its partnership with FLW for the 2013 season. Rayovac will remain the official dry cell battery of FLW: the world’s largest tournament fishing organization. Financial terms of the deal were not released.
Rayovac will continue to receive exposure across all of FLW’s platforms, including its tournaments and Expos, multiple websites, FLW Bass Fishing magazine and the “FLW” television show on NBC Sports Network. "FLW" is broadcast Sundays in high-definition (HD) to more than 559 million households worldwide; making it the most widely distributed weekly outdoors-sports television show in the world.
With over 200 tournaments across five tournament circuits, FLW anglers from all over the U.S gather to compete for millions in prize money. FLW is the industry’s premier tournament fishing organization.
Jason Christie of Park Hill, Okla., will again represent Rayovac throughout the 2013 season. A former junior high basketball coach, Christie has transformed into one of the most successful anglers in the sport today. Jason has successfully qualified for four straight Forrest Wood Cups and has accumulated nearly $650,000 in winnings in just five years as a professional with FLW.
To celebrate the renewed partnership, Rayovac will be sponsoring the 2013 edition of the “I’d Rather Be Fishing Sweepstakes.” One lucky Rayovac Facebook fan will win a one-of-a-kind signed Jason Christie jersey, a reel with lures and a Rayovac camping bundle.
