When I don't have time to stay in my car or at home and need a charge, I just plug it into my phone and it gives me the charge I need for my phone

What a waste!
Bought this yesterday, charged it up and threw it in my purse since my kids kill my iPhone on the go constantly. Plugged it in to my phone only to realize it didn't hold the charge! Piece of junk... Waste of money.... Expected to charge up my phone at least 30% so I could keep phone on til I returned home.

Great for emergencys.
This charger's battery capacity is only 800 MaH, (most smartphone batteries these days have about twice that), so don't expect it to completely recharge your electronics. it's really only good for situations where your phone's about to die, but won't be able to get to an outlet for a few hours. All the other charger's on the market (that i've seen anyways) are a minimum of $60 so i'd definitely recommend it to anyone on a budget. The build quality is what you would expect from a $10 charger, cheap feeling plastic, but still sturdy enough to where i don't worry about it getting knocked around in my backpack. My biggest complaint is that the charging cable stopped working after a few months. If you need something with more capacity, search around for a charger with a higher MaH rating.

Perfect for Emergency
I purchased this On The Go Charger in hopes that it would be able to "fully" recharge my Galaxy SII# My cell phone battery never completely died on me# I just wanted to make sure that if my cell phone battery charge went below 10%, I would have the capability to recharge the battery to at least 50%, while on the go# I did not know about mAh at the time of purchase#
I got my charger and was so excited# I hooked it up and charged my new On The Go Charger until I saw the little green light #indicating that the device is fully charged and ready for use##
Now here is the test:
My cell phone battery life was at 40% at 2:40 pm# I connected the On The Go Charger to my cell phone, pushed the button to "Out", my phone indicated that it was "charging" and I left the phone alone#
At 3:07 pm, my screen lit up, indicating that the On The Go Charger was no longer charging my phone# Checked my batter life and it was at 50%# Not bad!!!!!!!! #Not bad at all for a device with a 400mAh Lithium Ion rechargeable battery##
Which brings me to my next point: mAh
If you do not know #as I didn't#, mAh = Milliamp Hours, is a unit for measuring electric power over time. mAh is commonly used to describe the total amount of energy a battery can store at one time.
So, the lower the mAh, the less power the battery can store. Hence, the reason this charger was no able to completely recharge my device.
In my opinion, this charger is perfect for "EMERGENCIES". If you are looking for an On The Go Charger that will "completely" recharge your electric device, this may not be the product for you. You may want to look for a device that offers more mAh power.
Guess what? Rayovac has one. Rayovac Back-Up Charger. It's has 800mAh Lithium Ion rechargeable battery.

Handy product for trips and camping
I like it. It is small, charges fast, and can easily charge most of your portable devices. The only drawback is how quickly it runs empty. But, if you have access to a power source, a power inverter, or a cigarette lighter, it's a snap to recharge it. And it draws so little power you can charge it in your vehicle without running the engine, and it won't drain the vehicle battery enough to prevent ignition.

junk port falls inside the charger
bought 5 of these, for me & family members.
Great for a couple of uses, then every one of these, the IN port dislodges and falls inside the charger rendering it USELESS, good idea POORLY MADE.
Unless Rayovac reimburses me for wasting my money I will buy another brand.

Will not charge my Smart phone
I bought this, because the battery in my smart phone does not last very long. However this will not even attempt to charge, it dies immediately.
