Great light
This flashlight has the brightness of a professional tool but with three C-cells will last a long time. I still cannot tell the difference between the low and high beams so I don't know which comes on first, high or low. Feels good in the hand and has a substantial feel. Love it!

Use at work
These lights are garbage. Work had purchased 8 of these for us to use at work and only about 2 work right. They always flicker, blink, and go out, even with new batteries. We would return them but you have to mail them to the manufacturer at your own cost.

the best I have seen or used in last 20 years
I used what was considered the very best of the commercial grade flash lights for many years while working for the S.D. highway patrol. Until now I haven't seen anything better. The rayovac 4 watt led flash light is my new best of the best. This is more than just a light, it is a top quality tool that in an emergency could make the difference in you or your loved ones making it home safely. It is extremely bright on the low setting and glaringly bright on high. The battery life on the low setting is more than four times longer than my old black aluminum housing flash light. No home or vehicle should be without one!!!

Very Bright
This is a great flashlight. The battery life stated is optimistic is is about half that time before it dims drastically.

good flashlight
i use this walking my dog in the morning when it's dark out; the LED is highly visible to oncoming cars, so it's an important piece of safety equipment.
the button is a little hard to find and activate with a wool/rawhide mitten combo on.
