LED 3AAA Tactical Flashlight
nice light...wish it didn't have to cycle through each different mode before turning off but i really like it otherwise

Nice light, short life
I was thrilled with this light at first, it's well made, compact, and throws plenty of light. However, after using the flashlight for two months, it's begun to have intermittent operation. At first I thought the batteries were close to dead, but new batteries didn't solve the problem. No amount of fiddling with the battery contact springs has solved the issue. This is precisely why I sought a replacement for the LED MagLite I had...I want a light that will stay on when switched on without having to constantly tap on it to re-establish battery contact. In addition to the electrical issues, the reflective coating on the cone surrounding the LED has begun to flake off and stick to the inside of the lens. I've met people who own this light and love it, and the reviews on this site seem generally positive, so perhaps mine is the exception to the rule, but I'm looking for something different.

We have purchased many of these lights for our employees to use and the only complaint I have is the switch wears out rather quickly otherwise a good light for the money.

This is a great little flashlight for the money. It is light weight and easy to handle. I keep it next to my bed for use at night. I like the beam it throws and how far it shines. lights up all I need to see.

by far a better product than competitors
I work with a handful of people that have paid up to $100 for their flashlight. Rayovac is way better and for a third of the cost. I have bought 5 so far. great gift idea

this is a good light
it is my personal opinion that the first stage should be the max output but overall for the cost of this light i am very pleased.

For the price it can't be beat. Performs just as well as same type unit selling for much more.

Great Flashlight-Top marks
I have worked in law enforcement for over twenty years and have used all types and kinds of flashlights. This Rayovac RNT3AAA-B is by far one of the best, if not THE best buy for the money. Pros-Great light--200 lumens and a great throw. Uses AAA batteries rather than the expensive CR-123's, has a very good run time, simple to use tail cap switch. Cons--Takes a bit of practice to cycle through the modes, but that's minor. The scalloped metal on the front and rear really isnt needed. All is does is get bent, when you drop it. Has lanyard hole but no lanyard included. Final rating-5/5
